Once connected, INTO pulls your listings, reservations, saved replies, custom fields, and conversation history. This data builds your Knowledge Base so AI can answer guest questions with accuracy. The sync runs once after you connect. Updates happen automatically from that point forward.

Before you start

You need:

  • An active INTO account
  • Admin access to your Guesty account
  • A few minutes

The Knowledge Base build takes anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. Build time depends on how many listings you manage in Guesty.

Get your Guesty token

Follow these steps to obtain your marketplace token.

  1. Open the Guesty marketplace connection page. You may need to sign in.

  1. Click Connect in the top right corner. This generates your marketplace token.

  1. Copy the token. Keep the Guesty window open or save the token somewhere safe.

Connect INTO to Guesty

Now paste your token into INTO.

  1. Return to your INTO account page.
  2. Find the connection field. It appears on your dashboard after account creation.

  1. Paste your Guesty token into the field.
  2. Click Connect my account to Guesty.

INTO confirms the connection and starts building your Knowledge Base. You can close the window. The sync continues in the background.

Verify your connection

Check that data synced correctly.

  1. Go to Settings > Integration in your INTO portal.
  2. Confirm your Guesty account name appears under Connected Accounts.
  3. Check the sync timestamp. It shows when the last data pull completed.
  4. Navigate to Knowledge Base in the left menu.
  5. Select a listing from your portfolio.
  6. Review synced data for that listing. You should see property details, check in instructions, house rules, and saved replies.

If data looks incomplete, wait 10 minutes and refresh. Large portfolios take longer to sync.

What happens next

INTO syncs the following from Guesty:

  • Listings: Property names, addresses, descriptions, amenities, photos
  • Reservations: Guest names, check in dates, check out dates, booking details
  • Saved replies: Your existing templates and quick responses
  • Custom fields: Any custom data points you track in Guesty
  • Conversation history: Past guest messages (used to train AI tone)

After the initial sync, INTO updates automatically when you change data in Guesty. Most updates appear in INTO within 30 minutes.

Troubleshooting

Connection fails or token is rejected

The token may have expired or lacked the correct permissions.

  1. Return to the Guesty marketplace page.
  2. Generate a new token.
  3. Paste the new token into INTO.

If the error persists, check your Guesty admin permissions. You need full API access to connect INTO.

Knowledge Base looks empty after connection

The sync may still be running.

  1. Check the sync status in Settings > Integration.
  2. Wait another 10 minutes if the timestamp shows recent activity.
  3. Refresh your browser.

If data still does not appear after 2 hours, contact support through the help widget in your portal.

Users are not syncing from Guesty

User sync happens every 24 hours.

To force an immediate sync:

  1. Go to Settings > Team Members.
  2. Click Sync from Guesty at the top of the user list.

User changes appear within 2 minutes.
